New GB2 Teaser
I think that All of us have been waiting for a Video re-make of either of the Ghostbusters serials. I've heard tons of great GB3 audio trailers, but this one takes the cake! Thanks to Bobby J. A new Unbeliveable GB2 trailer remake has been created. After veiwing it several times I still couldn't get enough of it! Placed in widescreen format, superb audio, passing up this download would have to be one of the biggest mistakes a person could ever make. Now were also all probably thinking: "oh god, more GB1/2 song re-mixes!".... No. that is not the case here. Bobby J. has compiled a Fantastic audio score for this GB2 preveiw. I tip my hat to such an outstanding piece of work. I look forward to more heroistic re-mixes in the future.
Check out Bobby J's New GB2 trailer now!

GB RPG
Alright, i'll admit it the only real RPG I've ever played was the original Dragon Warrior for the old 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment System but after further investigation into the Ghostbusters RPG I was just blown away! Adam Bestler did a fantasic job on this game! It actually suprised me in several hilarious vulgar ways as well. I'm not that far into it quite yet but the game is Highly addictive! But don't be fooled. This isn't some stupid "shoot em' up" and so fourth game (none the less those can be fun too). It makes you think on a much higher level than a person would think. It places not your body but brain right into the storyline (the basic point of RPG's) at a very intense stage of thought. Gameplay (aside from when you get stuuck in the odd corner.) is fantastic, graphics are a lil' blast from the past into the old GB2 gameboy game. Even if this is a demo its a great lil' way to relax after a hard day at work or a decent break from the usual routine in life. I can't wait to see the finished version. To all who read this I highly recommend to download it if you havent already!

SPECTER BUSTERS
Now as we all know web pages all start out small then eventually grow big but Mike_D's "SPECTER BUSTERS" really caught my eye! A smiling casper like Ghost logo welcomes you to this small site, below are little but extremely potential features of a message board, cast & story not to mention some pretty cool screen shots. A Fan-Fic site based upon a student film, As quoted: "it will get better"... honestly I can see it becomming one of the greatest Ghostbusters related Fan-Fiction sites. Watch for future follow ups on the Specter Busters.

The Grid
Well after long last The Ectoplasmic Archive now has RealPlayer on its back and She's lookin' good. But now I'd like to talk about "The Grid", one of my all time favorite websites created by CaptainN. This page has been around for as long as I can possibly remember, back to the day of when I used my 28k hook-up to surf the net on Windows 95. Now Every site goes through constant changes. As Ectoman once said: "A webmaster is almost never pleased". Of course this statement does stand by alot of sites on the net but sometimes a person doesn't want to mess with a good thing. But CaptainN has the highest respect for the Ghostbusters community and with this left the option of "Classic Grid" When the Re-design was launched. Here you can still navigate all of the options of the new site, but with the look & feel of the old Grid design (a very nice option I might add). Now as far as multimedia goes he's got tons of pics and wavs. Extremely impressive. Sections regarding everything Ghostbusters. Information, cartoons, links & a nice Archives section. I love seeing those. Aside from the usual webpage options available on most sites he also offers a GB newspaper so to speak, where you can submit your Email addy and as posted: "Are you always wondering what is going on in the world of Ghostbusters? Are you tired of going to half a dozen sites to see what is going on? Well now you can get all the information straight from your inbox!". Aside from the usual pop-up this sites going up in popularity at a rapid pace. Looking forward to the next update CaptainN and keep up the good work!

Ghostbusters 2 Online
Welcome to yet another "behind the scenes" view at yet another hit GB site soon to hit the airwaves. Well make that a GB2 site. Jesusfreak has been working on a .com address site called Ghostbusters 2 Online (GB2O) for a while now and i had the upper hand of getting an insiders look at what's going to happen with it over the next few months. But as of now the original GB2O is still available in the Ghostbusters directory. Still in the works yet chalk full of content and information regarding, you guessed it: Ghostbusters 2. After browsing the site for a bit I found some amazing Information on everything GB2. Scripts, bloopers, rare pics & some great multimedia. I especially enjoyed the DVD covers area since mine is different from those shown. I find that its a big thing to me when I see sites out there displaying any and all DVD information because alot of people out there don't quite have a DVD Player yet and are just dying to see what all the fuss is about the GB serials on DVD. Honestly, they are missing out. But its webmasters like Jesusfreak & Hans (webmasters known of thus far) that really do put alot back into the GB community with those informative sections. I wish the best for the future of Ghostbusters 2 Online!
1.Jesusfreak, for months now weve all heard rumor about a GB2online site, can you tell us what its all about?
1. GB2O is far more than a rumor, I launched version 1 back in August. It was recieved far better than it predessecor, The Bowels of The Firehouse. Infact I recieved too many visitors and Geocities shut me down. Thats what started my redesign craze. It started with a simple server move and redesign, but became much more....
2.Now i always ask every webmaster out there "what prompted the dream of GB2Online?" but it reads GB2 right there, you must love GB2. Is it going to be just a pure GB2 dedication site or is there going to be any other GB related material in there?
2. GB2O will cover GB2 like most sites cover the series. It will not cover GB, RGB, or EGB. However I will cover news from the series. Ocassionly you might see something like an audio byte of the Simpons reference.
3.After taking a look at the "old" GB2O what kind of changes can we expect? Will there still be all the multimedia as shown before as well as other features? Or is it a totally new creation from scratch?
3. GB2O will be totally different. New sleek design. I opted not to redesign, but to rebuild. I used nothing that did before....
4.Now i really enjoyed the variety of content there (ie: the title graphics), what can we expect similar features on the new GB2O?
4.My Principal says variety is the spice of life, well I think GB2O must be cajun ;)
5.Im sure that alot of die hard GB2 fans out there are just itching to see her online. when can we expect GB2O to hit the net?
5.I will most likely be done in May...However I plan on coming back on June 16.
Jesusfreak: Back, it was a pleasure being interviewed by you, and I wish you and your sites the best.
Thanks a bunch guy! Remember folks, look forward to a highly detailed follow up on the New GB2O come June! Till then bust some heads (in a spiritual sense of course)!

Ghostbusters Prop Archive
Well I finally got a chance to talk to Ectoman (AJ Quick) about the long awaited launch of the new Ghostbusters Prop Archive. It all started 4 years ago with "Slime Square". Ectoman had the honour of a passed down site. He worked with it, molded it and created another mona lisa of the Ghostbusters commmunity with nothing but improvements since. The best GB prop ( GBprops.com? go figure) reference site on the net to date. When I built my pack I mustve spent hours on end on that site studying all design possibilities for my pack with the materials and tools available to me. One of my top ten sites to visit on a weekly basis. And even With this refernce to guide me in the construction of my props they unfortuneately turned out at a 7 out of 10 (on my scale. at least the flowers are still standing.) yet he still placed them on his site. I was honoured, I hope when I speak of this I hope that you all agree with me when I say "any prop is a good prop, as long as it fools the naked eye." With all this (as seen in the preveiw) is a fantastic new layout unlike anyone has ever seen. But don't let this article fool you. It'll still have all the bellls & whistles as before but with more add-ons. But what you ask? I did. And was lucky enough to chat with him for a minute about the masterpiece in progress. With every re-design it'll be more than what we expected from the GBprop Archive than ever before. Take a peek at the interveiw that we had below.
1. your obviously a Ghostbusters fan, but why did you feel the need to launch a prop site?
1. At the time I was also running a Ghostbusters website called "Slime Square". The name was a hand-me-down from the previous owner. This was around 1998, and the idea of Ghostbusters Props was just starting to take off. Norm's plans were highly distributed, and many were wanting to display their pics. So I created a little section of my website to be with props. (I believe I was the 4th GB Prop Site online, the first integrating a GB site, and prop site.) It was just something I wanted to do. I took a bunch of pictures of the pack at PH in Minnesota.. and wanted to share those pictures, so I started the Prop Archive in 2000.
2. when was the original prop site of your launched, what was it like then?
2. August 1998. It was terrible, since there was only a handful of proppers out there.. I had to find them and ask for their pictures. There wasn't any info, just pictures, and plans basically.
3. what can we be expecting of the new gbprops? aside from the lil' preveiw?
3. Expect it to be the best resource, and largest GB Prop Site online. At my current count, we have 575 Prop Pictures, and 500 Reference Pictures. Back when I first re-opened my site in 2000, I had some great ideas that I was hoping to accomplish. I wanted to incorporate new technologies that I was learning and make a really cool site. I also wanted it to be helpful, to help those without knowledge of how to make props, to learn how.
4. why a re-design?
4. I go through a re-design every 6-9 months. I am never happy with it, and that is probably true with most webmasters out there. I already was having to redo the whole site to make in SSI workable. So I thought why not re-do it. I also polled several dozen visitors, and they said they liked the original yellow on black, instead of the black on yellow. The new design looks somewhat like it originally did.
5. you gotta love all of those perfect 10's votes on GBN, how does that make you feel?
5. You're talking to the wrong guy. :-) You are the one with the perfect 10's. Well, I expect at least 9's, because I know it is as good as others that are higher.
6. you have a faveroite prop built by another ghosthead? or is that your lil' secrect?
6. I like everyone's props, as long as they had fun making them, and their maker likes them. I hate my props.
7. are you currently working on any new GB based props or plans at the moment?
7. I'm working on everything I can think of, Packs, Traps, PKE, Sniffer, and Uniform. But I can never, and have never finished any of my props. I am currently working on deciphering some trap plans, and electronic schematics.
8. when can we expect the launch date to be or is it to early to tell?
8. I've got a great feeling that it will be this month. (But don't quote me on that).
9. if im not mistaken it used to be "the slime square prop site"? why was the name changed?
9. It was changed because Slime Square was closed after a catastrophic hard drive failure. Which caused me to loose everything. I just wanted to start new, and thought Ghostbusters Prop Archive was a good name, because I wanted to Archive all the current info that we have.
10. are you going to miss anything about the old GBprops site design?
10. Probably not, there were some great things I had in the previous design that were very good. I used to have the date, and last updated info.. which I thought was nice. I also had some tables with borders that I had liked, but I can't find any place to put them in the new design.
11. after the launch is there a possibility of electrical diagrams for the scrolling light bars like before along with possible other imortant diagrams?
11. There are great possibilities that those will be on the site when it launches. I will be putting some tutorials that were group works at ASAP that will go up there. I was granted permission to post some tutorials, and pictures from there by a few. I do have schematics, and info that will go up there.. yes.
12.Anything that you want to say about this pinpoint in history of props and proppers alike?
12. I just hope everyone has as much fun viewing the site, as I had making it. I am really impressed at the kind things I have done, and how they have turned out.

Ghostbusters Fascinating Facts!
If you think that you thought that you've seen a GB fact site before - think again. Brought to you by Hans Schneck, Ghostbusters Fascinating Facts its a great source for someone who doesn't have a DVD player yet. And even if you do your missing out of you don't visit this site! Most if not All subtitles from the movie are posted on this site. Some great paranormal links for the "simply spook" enthusiasts as well as top Ghostbusters references near the bottom of the page. I really enjoyed the EGB facts on this page because it seems to be one of the lesser known Ghostbusters entertainment franchises owned by sony inc. Now this site may be fact based but if you browse the page a bit further you will find a new fantastic Ghostbusting tool, the "Proton Vac." Basically you suck the specter up and its an advanced version of the trap, with a lil' kick to it. It pretty much eliminates the basic use for the particle thrower replacing it with a miniature containment unit in place of the proton pack. A very cool Ghostbusting prototype with hopes of successful tests in the near future. None the less we all love are proton packs don't we?

The Manalapan Ghostbusters @ Crossthestreams.com
Recently I had the pleasure of chatting with DOCMCFLY of the MGB's about there triumphant return to crossthestreams.com. Since this is my first news article on the Ecto. Arch. I didn't really know what to expect the outcome of the discussion to be since I've never really looked too close at a Ghostbusters related franchise before. I was quite suprised to find how professional the Manalapan Ghostbusters really were. A simple 4 step spook removal process, PHD's all around & realistic 24/7 services. While cruising through the site I found a most helpful option of "find a franchise", when attempting to locate a GB franchise nearest you simply point & click on your state and immediately before my eyes, surely enough a well respected Ghost removal business appears. Now as for being noticed these men do not have a problem. Appearing a sci-fi conventions, several magazine clippings and a real downloadable commercial for you viewing pleasure. Established 1997, hired by Ghostbusters International in October of 2000 business has boomed for the 4 crusaders. Currently they are testing a new piece of Ghost detection equipment. The " PARA Meter". Take note of one of the newest features to hit the site, "Ask The Parapsychologist". A section answering all specter related questions directly to the Manalapan Ghostbusters.
Previous to documenting the current events for CrossTheStreams.com I had a chance to ask them some more detailed questions about there organization Via-Email below.
why did you start the MGB's and why crossthestreams.com?
Basically what happened was Me,Alex, and Jay did a few ghost hunts around town trying to get as much info on ghosts as we can and to possibly catch one on film! Shortly after that we heard that GBI was looking for a second team for New Jersey and we thought to our selves,"hey, we should try this out. Wel'l have actual ghostbusting equipment and actually be able to catch a ghost". We than contacted GBI and they decided we were qualified for the job.
Actually, GBI gave us a list of acceptable domain names and one of them was Crossthestreams.com and we liiked that one the best so we chose it.
who all is invloved with the MGB's? and what do they do?
The people involved with The Manalapan Ghostbusters are me, Dr.Justin Friedman other than bust ghosts with the team I make sure our equipment is always ready and I make sure the containment unit is stable at all times. Dr.Alex Rothenberg is the master negotiatior with ghosts =), he's the one we basically send out to talk to the big nasty demons that we sometimes encounter. Its' a dirty job but someone has to do it! Dr. Jason Molinaro is basically the serious guy, other than busting ghosts he helps out examining the samples of ectoplasmic residue we find on busts aswell as research the latest ghosts in his spare time. Dr. Ernie Slaugher is our newest member other than bust ghosts with us he also watches out for the contaiment unit and helps out with the equipment. Another person involved with the MGB's is our "phone guy" Mr. Anthony Agro who hangs around the office here, answers the phone, and let's us know where we have to go for a bust.
when was the MGB's first established?
The Manalapan Ghostbusters opened shop in October of 2000
what was it like when you first started? did you think that you'd get this good/make it this far?
When we first started we were very anxious to get our first call and we prepared for anything supernatural.
Well, GBI is a famous company and since they keep doing so good we really had no doubt that we would do the same. All of our staff members have confidence and like I said prepared for anything supernatural.
what does the MGB's provide not only the GB community with but the public as well?
Well of course we bust ghosts for the public! We also make appearances to make the public happy, at places such as Chiller Theatre, birthday's, and other things that GBI say we should attend.
What does crossthestreams.com provide to the veiwing public? (multimedia, info, etc...)
Crossthestreams.com provides the public with our office phone number, pricing, order online, aswell as videos from commercials and busts weve been on.
whats in the works thus far?
Right now wer'e working on bringing you a video that was filmed by Anthony at the very first bust we went on as well as some footage from the ghost hunts weve been on before we were with GBI.
got anything up your sleeve for the future? or is it all top secret?
Weve got some top secret things that youll jsut have to wait to see!
Tell us more about "talk spook" and other special features that much of the public isnt possible aware of yet.
Talk Spook is a show coming to Ghostbusters.net where we will bring you to locations seen in the films based on GBI.
