One for the Record books
Some may have found it as a suprise attack, but to others it was known to happen, didnt know when or what to expect. Tension was high throughout the community for multiple reasons left better unsaid, but all was made good in the end. Honestly Ive seen alot of things in my life happen but this one Will go down in the history books, it isn't a little of everything, it isn't fun, it isn't limited! This site offers Everything from the original scores to archives unimaginable to the human mind! Bobby J & Ectoman have brought the GB community to its knees With Ghostbusters Fans with well, too many options to list. A message board, Full media, Fan Submissions, News & Reviews, Scripts... God, is there anything here that i cant list? Navigation is a breeze with its beautiful php coding and this site holds access to once again, Everything. Props Galore, no question. This site isn't snowballing into something big, its an avalanche. If theres something that this site has left out I'd like you to be able to find it. I tip my hat to the 2 of you fabulous masters of the web. im gone.

Awards and News Galore!
Well after returning from a much needed weeks vacation im back. And to say the least the Ghostbusters community is looking a little crowded. 400 members recently joining in the past couple months. But all is well. However in this particular news update Id like to point out The Old Firehouse, your fan film source & more! Alot of people will visit the site and just see alot of type and surf elsewhere looking for flash or animated images to dazzle the eye. Dont be fooled! The Old Firehouse has more to offer than one could possibly imagine. Dr.Spengler did a great job in navigation and constant news updates. And as always - who could not love the kitchen sink (trust me, its a great section of the site)? But at the moment Id like to quote a earlier article placed in the gazette: "I want to address something about our good friend back. back has been a contributing member to the community for awhile, and his sites are rivaled by no one. I mean it. The Ectoplasmic Archive and Ecto-135 are his sister sites, one documenting community news, one with info on the 59 Caddy Ambulance, and both with big media. If you want proof to their greatness, check the links page at Ghostbusters.net. The two sites are one-two in ratings. That's unheard of. Better ratings then Spook Central, GBHQ and Proton Charging, as well as The Old Firehouse! Anyway, back has gotten some major email viruses and what not on his computer, and things are tough for him. Yet he persists and keeps his sites running top notch. Recently, GBN user Proton_Pack insulted back in a very, VERY hurtful way, so much so that back addressed it on The Ectoplasmic Archive. He doesn't deserve this. He's a great member of the community, and he helped promote The Old Firehouse when it was just trying to get off its feet. I want to personally thank him for his contributions to the community. *Raises his glass.* Best of luck to you. I digress." But as I said before, its a very old article. The Old Firehouse is a bookmarked site. And it looks like another set of awards is right around the corner. lead by Dr.Spengler and down to 9 judges the contest is right around the next bend, gear up your sites!

Alright, theres been Ghostbusters Remixes left, right and center throughout the Ghostbusters community as far back as Bills old board. But lately things have been changing. But among all of these and elite few will always stand out. Bobby J's "Hero" creation, Bronx GB's turntable mixes and once upon a time PKE online's Huge library of Euro Ghostbusters remakes. Well instead of all of you running your ass off meeting and greeting ever skitz whos ever heard a Remix or New GB related song I'll bring them straight to you for your convenience and entertainment. Below is a list of the most requested and popular "kick-ass" Goulish tunes available at this time. Enjoy! im gone.

FAQ & Old Problems
Honestly, I have no idea how many of you read the news section here, but to the members that do you'll all notice that some things never change. GBN is experiencing a bit of a "baby boom" if you will. I dont know exactly how many members have recently joined, perhaps 50? 75? and with this has come ECTOMAN's brilliant "newbie FAQ" post. Its purpose is to inform newbies of the rules, whats already been posted already and so fourth. basically an instruction manual for GBN. as useful as it may seem, its not helping. And theres always a shit disturber lurking in the airwaves. One faithful morning in the past week he basically destroyed chads beloved GBN message boards. I watched it happen, slowly from MISC. to movies all were flooded with comments of perversion. I did speak to chad and I quote "It wasnt a problem". He says, ridding the board of 4500 useless posts is one thing, but what about the 10 members online at the moment? They had little or no chance of posting. No mud-slinging intended, just documentation for the record. People Need to feel safe expressing there opinions on the board, now with 4 corrupt mods that have lost there jobs at GBN (note: 4 mod positions are available, apply now!) what will happen now? To further extend the dangers of the net so - to - speak all of our IP numbers were briefly displayed, for numerous reasons. with this many constant connection internet users were vulnerable to hackers more than dial up users. Many members were reasonably upset. But is exposing IP numbers what it takes to keep the boards clean? To track everyone down like a dog? I hope not. In closing GBN has been cleared up nicely, version 2.0 of GBN is to come out in the fall with full RGB episodes and more.

Grid No.2
Two years ago CaptainN had launched the grid with high hopes of its future in Ghostbusting reference and entertainment. It has now been two years and The Grid's still flyin' high! The hit counter continues to build in strength. To all fellow Ghostheads it is now a household name. The Grid also took part in the Ghostbusters Web Collation of stolen media. News boosts that rocked the Ghostbusters community with a never ending media archive. I remember when it had first come out, I still had my old pentium 133 system with a weak lil' 28k modem. The loading time was worth it. As seen in "Classic Grid" you can see what it used to be like. In my opinion I love the original design more than the new one. But thats just me I suppose. I dont like major changes. But with the New screen design and AUX. panels more features are offered than ever! Bookmark it, Visit it, Love it. Its The Grid.

Game
Only a mere week past with my absence. I read the farewells then cranked my Email account right up. You can now contact me on "The Ecto Relations Board" for The Ectoplasmic Archive or ECTO-135. After reading "The Truth" so to speak it looks like chad really going to screw the pooch on us all. Little does he realize that if he eliminates the Ghostbusters sites, he in turn Eliminates the community. Now I know only about half of the story here but what Im wondering is why in the hell hasnt he been defending himself? Anyways, Im back on my feet and into the GB community. Im gone.
Im gone.
